More than a themed gay bar, Badlands Saloon is a neighborhood bar set into the always interesting Commercial Center. Regulars keep their own beer mugs handy and are never too busy to help clear their own empties, especially when the bartender has a hot date. And the saloon styling may mean that tight wranglers are everywhere, but that doesn’t mean you have to squeeze into them yourself. You’re fine just going to meet someone whose wranglers you can help slip off later.
Cheap drinks, cheap pool, men of discerning taste who don’t need nothin’ too fancy, Badlands has everything you want in a cowboy on cowboy saloon. And being in Community Center means it’s also just a short walk away from Hawk’s Gym, Entourage bath house and the Green Door. It may be a somewhat older crowd, but that doesn’t mean these cowboys don’t know how to hoedown. Just be sure to bring your wallet because Badlands is cash only.
